The Information We Collect
FRESHE is an executive search and consultancy firm and collects a variety of personal data necessary to provide its services, using a proprietary and highly confidential database accessible only by FRESHE, derived from information collected directly from you, publicly available sources and third parties (“personally identifiable data”).
Categories of personally identifiable data may include: name, date of birth, address, marital status, contact information (telephone, email), nationality, career history, education history, professional experience and resume. By submitting your information to FRESHE, by whatever means, you indicate your willingness and permission to disclose this information to FRESHE and to be considered, when appropriate, for (one of) FRESHE’s confidential (non-)executive searches. If you do not wish to disclose your personally identifiable data, FRESHE will be unable to provide you with the services it offers, since employment, educational and other personal information is necessary in order to assess your career opportunities.
It is not FRESHE’s policy to seek any sensitive information, unless legally required, for recruitment purposes. Sensitive information includes data relating to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, fiscal identity (BSN) or -situation, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life, or criminal record. We suggest that you do not provide sensitive information of this nature. If you do wish to provide sensitive information for any reason, FRESHE accepts your explicit consent to use that information in the ways described in this Privacy Policy or as described at the point where you choose to disclose.
How We Use and Disclose Personally Identifying Information
In order to present you as a potential candidate to potential employers (FRESHE clients), your personally identifiable data may be shared with FRESHE clients and/or transferred between FRESHE’s affiliates (currently only Trust Associates Limited in London). FRESHE and its affiliates are committed to implementing the appropriate data integrity and security measures required of the country in which it resides in order to protect your personally identifiable data.
By choosing to provide FRESHE with your personally identifiable data you indicate your willingness and give your permission to share and have your personally identifiable data stored by FRESHE, transferred between FRESHE’s affiliates and to be considered, when appropriate, for (one of) FRESHE’s confidential (non-)executive searches. FRESHE will always let you know in advance if and when it shares or transfers your personally identifiable data in such manner. If you object to your personally identifiable data being shared and transferred in such manner or if you do not wish to participate in this service and benefit from the career opportunities that FRESHE provides, please do not provide your personally identifiable data to us.
Your personal information may also be used anonymously and in the aggregate in order to put together industry, marketing and employment statistics. Used in this manner, your personal information becomes non-identifying.
We will only use your personally identifiable data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, or where we are required or authorized by law to disclose your personally identifiable data to others, or have your permission to do so. We will use our best efforts to ensure that such data are accurate, complete, current and reliable for its intended use. We also will use our best efforts to protect your personally identifiable data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
FRESHE does not make use of automated decision-making or profiling.
Information About Others
If you provide us with information about other individuals, for example details of a referee or other personal contact, you must ensure that they have agreed to your providing us with their details. We would advise you to keep a record of their agreement and provide them with a copy of, or link to, this Privacy Policy to avoid any concern.
Keeping Your Personally Identifiable Data
We keep your personally identifiable data for as long as required to provide the relevant service, and in accordance with legal, tax and accounting requirements. Where your personally identifiable data are no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of in a secure manner and, where required by applicable law we will notify you when such information has been disposed of.
Keeping Information Secure
We invest significant resources in protecting your personally identifiable data, from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. However, no operating system can be 100% secure and we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintended access that is beyond our control.
